Artist currently residing in Nottingham, UK. Contemporary and illustrative Drawing forms the base of my practice, working primarily in Coloured pencils a medium which because of its strength in detail and precision, forces intent be given to every part of a scene. Nothing can be explained away with a few broad brush strokes or a splash of paint. everything is given careful and equal attention. I am quite obsessive by nature so this suits me.
I love Naive art, Naive and Outsider artists being some of my biggest inspirations
finding that sweet spot between realism and abstration is where i find i have the most creative and expressive freedom.
